Local design + Local production = SPOK Blekinge
SPOK Blekinge (Contemporary production and consumption), wants to make it easier for creatives and designers in the region to find local manufacturing opportunities and stimulate the development of art and design in existing and new materials - everything from handicrafts to industries.
This seminar presents four design companies from Blekinge who have explored and tried out the SPOK concept, as well as one or more manufacturers. The selected companies have gone through all steps in the process - from idea to finished product, and the result is Blekinge's very first SPOK collection, with new products that have been produced in the region using recycled materials, exciting techniques and expert knowledge that is completely unique to Blekinge.
