Come and have a sit down with us! Buy a wooden stool, hand crafted in Malmö by master cabinet maker Ali Atie.

With the first version (stone, 2018) of their Very Good Stool, Förstberg Ling explored the relationship in-between the carried and the carrying.

The stacking and slotting of the different elements of the stool makes for a certain structural clarity. Each part performing its tectonic function in relationship to the next.

Förstberg Ling is an office for architecture and design established by Björn Förstberg and Mikael Ling in 2015. The projects, from buildings and interiors to furniture and objects, are designed with a technical as much as an aesthetic approach. The resulting work often falls into the realm between the obvious and the surprising. Förstberg Ling design for longevity and with integrity, ensuring concepts and materials are deeply considered and consciously chosen. The studio draws inspiration from collective experiences, good and bad. The memorable ones are often the extremes. Their design process nurtures the good, alters the bad, and strives for better.
