Idé + Famn = Omtanke
Nine Life Design returns during Southern Sweden Design Days with the program title Omtanke / Solicitude. This year, our main concern is for our friends who live under threat, with worries, fears and who fight for their lives, freedom, and democracy. A horrifying everyday life in our proximity.
We are two freelance creators who love to find new contexts for our functional art and design. Cecilia Waxberg, illustrator and designer, and Cissi Glave, recycler and creator, both utilize and re-use previous design projects, to form new shapes in their up-to-date packaging. Individually, we create durable design. Look, contemplate, feel, and be inspired by different expressions, different materials, and different styles. Embracing lines become conscious forms and create intimacy. Ideas from the past are recast and gain a natural belonging in the present.
