Start-up design studio MOEBEL, exhibits prototypes from an upcoming furniture series in molded cardboard and plywood, at restaurant Mygel.
Many furniture and interiors are specifically designed for all kinds of meetings and social events. There is also plenty of good interiors for when you need to focus or just want to be by yourself.
Furniture and interiors, however, designed to make us notice people we don´t know, people in our immediate surrounding, are in short demand.
We need our private spaces. But we also need to reconnect with our neighbours and the people around us, without being intrusive.
Maybe it´s enough just to see each other, for a brief moment, if only through an opening in a strange partition-wall.
