Friends + Approximately = Okay Amazing
What is a perfect surface? When is creative work really finished and how do our demands on these things affect the designed object? These past years handmade design have gotten a huge boost thanks to clay and its accessibility. With the “imperfect” objects a discussion is raised about what is, and is not, a designed object. Can imperfection or disorder also be the final result? Have the standards for our home environment shifted focus - from perfect to personal, with a lot of time spent indoors these past years? What would objects that encourage ”good enough” look like?
Stor Studio invites to an exhibition where a few designer friends explore and challenge good enough. With explorations in material and working processes, rough surfaces or lower demands in both our homes and lives, the exhibition show a collection of okay amazing objects.
