Come and participate in an innovation project during Southern Sweden Design Days! Welcome to a workshop where you can try to shape and evaluate a new Swedish biomaterial developed from residues.
In a world filled with fossil-based materials, we have in a fantastic creative team of designers, researchers and material nerds created a brand new material. The material is produced from waste from the manufacture of edible mushrooms and is completely organic and free of fossil ingredients. It is also lightweight and can be shaped in different ways. We have tested shaping through a few different techniques. Now we want to ask you to shape with your hands and your intuition. We are curious to see what happens. The material is like something in between clay and chip composite and has a nice ability to want to be shaped. Test what you would like to shape it into. We believe that everything is possible!
