2020 + Souvenirs = Flying Souvenirs 2.2
Flying souvenirs 2.2 is a project of New closeness, created in the New Reality as a consequence of the pandemic. Over the past two years, many illustrations have emerged inspired by this new reality and the abruptly broken intimacy in the way we knew it. One of the conditions for close communication was the obligatory wearing of face masks. The Flaying souvenirs 2.2 project, with its design, widely observes physical, digital and indirect (family member, friend) experiences through the user's lens and communicates in a humorous way. The idea is to display all visuals of face masks under this unique name Flaying souvenirs 2.2 as souvenirs on the time of limited intimacy or as some obligatory protection of proximity.. Numbers 2.2 are symbolically linked to the year 2022 and the end of pandemic. Future exhibitions would also show old worn-out masks, as well as masks and visors brought to us by people as their improvisations or imitations of protection. Some of the finished products are shown here. The material from which the masks are made is certified for this type of product and as washable and reusable, it is environmentally friendly.
