3D printing + gathering = Floating Proximity
Floating proximity – a sense of closeness becomes more and more vital in our world. Especially during COVID regulations and restrictions. Interpersonal relationships, working life, meetings, and everyday culture transformed into a digital format. Modern, light-weighted, and flexible constructions could become a symbol of future cities and urban mobility. 3D printed structure gives the opportunity to create any kind of shape, free forms, and impressive design. Materials used for construction are recycled plastic, which brings the whole structure to another level of sustainability. An interior space can be used for meetings, meditations, or simply for lunch with family and friends. My design brings people together onto the water and creates memorable moments in their lives. The spherical floating structures would be flexible and easy to transform by the water.
