Distant & so Close

Design + Limited Production = Distant & so Close

Connectivity between people is a big part of RTID by Ludo AB’s substance.

The company is a small design studio, that cooperates with crafts people living in Thailand in the border area near Myanmar.

Eva Trige Andersen will be explaining about processes, and why choosing to work with production in Asia instead of finding similar close to southern Sweden.

For RTID by Ludo it’s about… doing the work with design of different products within interior and other in a sustainable way, and at the same time contribute to support people that are living in a vulnerable area somewhere in the World, by cooperating on assertive and equal terms. Focus area is Thailand, near the border to Myanmar. The production is build up on Limited Edition products. The cooperation is important and dearly. The thought behind is, if one would like to do something for a community, then in addition to supporting education to children and youngsters, one can support fair trade with locals, as in this case, craft people.

If one can support one, one has done good, if one can support two or more, it is a success.

There will be an online zoom presentation with reference to photo/video project with the possibility for participants to join in with questions.
