Waiting + Longing = Almost
What arises out of waiting and longing? When does it all begin? What do we long for when we wait? What are we waiting for when we long for something? Can I be in the present while in anticipation and in longing? Is the present almost here?
To almost be there.
We at Textile Art & Design have explored our thoughts and connections to waiting and longing through textile techniques.
The exhibition shows individual works together with a joint project where the entire class has participated in creating a rotary print.
A rotary printing process may in many ways resemble our own development. We keep on rolling and we keep on working. Sometimes it can feel as if we are going in circles. But once we look up and look back, we see how far we have actually come.
The exhibition is shown at Östra Grevie's very own gallery on Kopparbergsgatan in Malmö.

Friday the 20th of May, we turn out the lights at Östra Grevie’s own gallery located at Kopparbergsgatan 2a, to determine who can knit the farthest and best, in the dark. Do you or someone you know have what it takes? Don’t wait, apply now!
